| OPRAH WINFREY is the Queen of Media. Of this there is no doubt. She has had an unprecedented run of enormous media success throughout her long and storied career. However, her transition from main line media to the development of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on cable television has been challenging for her, to say the least. Why? How could a queen of media and one of the wealthiest people in the entertainment world be struggling with her new venture when everything she has touched in the past has basically turned to gold?
The answer to Oprah's OWN dilemma may seem like a riddle, but as with all riddles there is a secret answer, and the secret as to why Oprah is having such challenging times is extremely clear in her numbers, especially in her Name Timeline. The Name Timeline is composed of two major parts: 1. the full birth name, and 2. each individual name of the full birth name. Every name has its own timeline - the number of years in which the number associated with it is active. Oprah's full birth name is Oprah Gail Winfrey. The single number associated with this birth (natal) name is a 7. It is active for 97 years. After the full birth name runs its course, the name will cycle around and begin again for another 97 year cycle. Contained within her natal name are its three names: 1. Oprah; 2. Gail; 3. Winfrey. The Name Timeline of her first name, Oprah, is from birth through age 31. The single number associated with Oprah is a 4. It is created by adding 1 + 3 (= 4). The Name Timeline of Oprah's middle name, Gail, lasts for 20 years. Its single number is a 2 (2 + 0 = 2). It began at age 32 and completed its cycle at age 51. Oprah's last name, Winfrey, started at age 52, will last for 46 years, and conclude at age 97. The single number associated with Winfrey is a 1 (4 + 6 = 10; 1 + 0 = 1). These three single names comprising Oprah's full name contain a clear answer to the riddle of her OWN dilemma. Oprah was born on 29 January 1954. By converting the month of January to its numerical cipher, a 1 (because it is the first month of the year), and by adding all of the numbers associated with her birth date together and reducing them to a single digit, the final result is a 4 (2 + 9 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 4 = 31; 3 + 1 = 4). Therefore, Oprah's Lifepath (the script of her life) is a 4. In numerology the number 4 rules work, service, security, stability, duty, loyalty and all things related to structure. By adding this 4 energy of "structure, work and service" to each of the single numbers of her three separate names, the solution of her OWN riddle becomes self-evident through a numerical pattern called an IR set in which the "I" stands for the Influencing energy and the "R" stands for the Reality or outcome energy - the "Influence/Reality" set. This IR pattern can also be seen as a "Cause and Effect" formation. For example, when the number 4 associated with the name Oprah is added to the number of her Lifepath, a 4, the result is an 8 (4 + 4 = 8). In numerology, the number 8 represents business, commerce, interaction, involvement, management, administration, orchestration, efficiency, flow, social power, the status quo and connecting the dots. This IR set is written simply as 4/8, where the 4 is the number of Oprah and the 8 is the outcome number of adding the 4 of the name to the 4 of the Lifepath. In this 4/8 pattern the 4 Lifepath number is invisible. The complete IR Set would be written as 4/(4)/8, where the first 4 represents the Influencing energy of the name Oprah; the middle 4 represents her Lifepath, and the resulting 8 is the Reality of the Influencing energy of the name (4) filtering through the Lifepath (4) to create the outcome. An even clearer numerical depiction would be 4/(+4)/=8), but this can get too confusing and, frankly, is unnecessary. Therefore, the two most used forms for designating an IR Set in this case would be the 4/8 or the 4/(4)/8. Here's how all this works. The Name Timeline (NTL) of Oprah houses a 4/8 IR set and was active from birth to age 31. The Name Timeline of Gail carries a 2/6 IR Set (2 Name + 4 Lifepath = 6 Reality) and was active from age 32 to 51. Her surname, Winfrey, carries a Name Timeline IR Set of 1/5 (1 Name + 4 Lifepath = 5 Reality). It became active at age 52 and will remain active through age 97. Her 4/8 IR Set of Oprah combined with her 2/6 IR Set of Gail ruled her life from birth through age 51. These number patterns contain every social number in the Alpha Numeric Spectrum (the single numbers 1 through 9): 2-4-6-8. The number 2 rules relationship; the 4 rules work and service; the 6 rules love, home and nurturing; the 8 rules business, commerce, status, social power and being in-the-loop. And here's the telling factor. Oprah's 1/5 IR Set from Winfrey began at age 52. Notice there are no social numbers in this pattern. The number 1 governs independence, the self, ego, identity, action, going solo. It is the 1 which is now dominating her life, i.e. being solo, not social. The outcome reality of this 1 NTL of Winfrey is a 5 - the number associated with freedom, detachment, letting go, loss, movement, motion. No numerical pattern represents independence, self, being detached and free more than the 1/5 IR Set. It is in this 1/5 Name Timeline period of her life that Oprah's destiny caused her to detach from the social energies of her past and start her OWN television network, which went live on 1 January 2011 when she was 56, twenty-eight days shy of her fifty-seventh birthday. But more importantly, the 1/5 IR Set is a vibration of independent detachment, not social or commercial interaction - the very framework of her life during her Name Timelines of Oprah and Gail. It is this Name Timeline transition in Oprah's chart that has played a major role (but not the only role) in the dilemma she is experiencing and about which she has been most public. Will OWN succeed? This article will not speculate. Oprah's numerology chart reveals many powerful energies which have made her successful, and which are not going away. Still, it is wise to remember the words of 20th Century Saint, Charan Singh, who stated: which goes on pushing them relentlessly on the course already marked out for them. Man is completely helpless.
